Warehousing & Distribution

While Ecommerce Superstores continue to develop drop ship relationships with many of our suppliers, we are also fully equipped to stock merchandise in our local warehouse.

Our dual warehouses in Bowling Green, Kentucky total more than 10,000 square feet. Wall to wall shelves, piled high with thousands of bags, are a fashionista’s dream!

Our Shipping Department ships out hundreds of bags a week – to locations from California to South Africa and all the way to Australia. We also process all returns and exchanges through our local warehouse.

How do we decide which products to stock in our warehouses? Our #1 goal is to offer the best prices and selection to our customers, and buying in bulk is often the best way to achieve that. We typically stock the following types of products:

  • Bestsellers: Even with thousands of products to choose from, certain products always emerge as clear customer favorites. We work with suppliers of those products to negotiate bulk wholesale and shipping discounts.
  • Closeout Products: When a supplier decides to discontinue an item, we take that opportunity to purchase large quantities at a greatly reduced cost. We usually work through surplus distributors, but we can also work directly with smaller suppliers to liquidate their closeout stock.
  • Specialty Items: Occasionally, at market or around town, we find amazing products from suppliers who do not are not currently able to drop ship their merchandise. We know what our customers love, and sometimes the smallest companies offer the best products. We stock our warehouse with specialty bags from small companies, allowing us to offer unique merchandise that the bigger guys can’t.
  • Personalized Bags: We offer monogramming on some of our bags – an option our customers just can’t get enough of! Monogramming is done locally. For speed of delivery to the customer, we stock every bag that offers personalization.

Our staff enjoys getting a regular peak at all of the bags we warehouse. Familiarity with our broad product selection is crucial to our business’ success. Actually seeing, touching, and using our products – rather than just seeing photos online – allows our staff to offer very personal customer service. We answer hundreds of calls a week from customers who are shopping online, but just want to know more than even the most detailed web description can tell them. We’re ready to tell them what the bags are like in “real life” – often trying on handbags or sticking our own laptops inside computer bags to see how they fit. We encourage even our drop-ship vendors to send product samples for photography and review by our staff, in order to help us sell their bags more successfully.
